Sibona Grappa Riserva Speciale di Nebbiolo Millesimat

HK$0.00

NEBBIOLO DOESN'T DO ORDINARY. NEITHER DOES THIS.

The grape behind Barolo and Barbaresco — Italy's most noble, most demanding, most uncompromising variety — is also the source of one of Sibona's most extraordinary releases. Millesimata: vintage-dated, individually numbered, produced in deliberately tiny quantities and presented in Sibona's signature decanter with a wooden case and numbered parchment certificate. A grappa that exists on its own terms entirely.

The marc is Nebbiolo, harvested fresh and selected by Sibona's own team before going straight into copper pot stills. Distillation is entirely in-house — no shortcuts, no outside contractors — guided by the expertise of Sibona's oenologists and master distillers, the same people who have been refining this craft for generations. The spirit then undergoes a long, considered ageing process in oak casks, concentrating slowly and quietly into something deep, refined and unmistakably Piedmontese.

This is a grappa that rewards patience. From the vine right through to the glass.

Tasting Notes

Deep amber with burnished gold highlights. The nose opens with dried rose petals, leather and tobacco — the unmistakable fingerprint of Nebbiolo — layered with warm spice, vanilla and dark fruit. On the palate it is structured yet velvety, with a compelling tension between power and elegance. Long, complex finish with lingering notes of dried fruit and toasted oak. A grappa of genuine depth and distinction.
