Sibona Grappa di Dolcetto

HK$0.00

THE GRAPE THEY CALL SWEET. THE GRAPPA THAT ISN'T.

Despite its name — dolcetto meaning "little sweet one" — Dolcetto is anything but. This distinctly Piedmontese red variety produces wines of deep colour, low acidity and characteristically bitter finish, with a tannic structure that sets it apart from anything else in the region. As a grappa, that same character comes forward with real conviction.

Sibona distils fresh Dolcetto marc in copper pot stills entirely in-house, then ages the spirit in stainless steel to preserve the variety's natural intensity. The result is a grappa that is young, vibrant and unmistakably Dolcetto — bold fruit on the nose, dry and robustly structured on the palate, with that signature bitter finish arriving exactly where you'd expect it.

Tasting Notes

Crystal clear. The nose is intense and forward, with generous fruity aromas — dark berry and a hint of almond characteristic of the variety. The palate is dry, full-bodied and robustly structured, with a pleasantly bitter, lingering finish that is entirely, unapologetically Dolcetto.
