Sibona Grappa di Barbera

HK$0.00

THE PEOPLE'S GRAPE OF PIEDMONT. DISTILLED WITH THE RESPECT IT DESERVES.

Barbera is Piedmont's most widely planted red grape — and historically its most underestimated. Long overshadowed by the prestige of Barolo and Barbaresco, it has quietly earned its own following among those who know it well. High in natural acidity, low in tannins, and generous with dark fruit character, Barbera brings a vitality to the glass that few grapes can match.

Sibona distils fresh Barbera marc in copper pot stills entirely in-house, resting it first in stainless steel before further ageing in oak barrels. The result is a grappa of real character — dry, mature and robustly Piedmontese, with a feisty, lingering finish that is entirely its own.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw. The nose is virile and marked in intensity — very forward and immediately recognisable as Barbera. The palate is dry, mature and nicely robust, with a harmonious structure and a lingering, feisty aftertaste that stays with you.
