Sibona Grappa di Arneis

HK$0.00

THE GRAPE THEY CALLED DIFFICULT. THE GRAPPA THAT PROVES THEM WRONG.

Arneis has always been the contrarian of Piedmont. A white grape grown in the Roero and Langhe hillsides that winemakers historically found so unpredictable they nicknamed it "little rascal." Thin-skinned, tricky to harvest, prone to oxidation — not an easy grape by anyone's measure. But the ones who persisted with it discovered something worth the effort: a character entirely its own. Delicate, herbal, quietly complex.

In Sibona's hands, the Arneis marc is distilled with the same precision the grape demands — in-house, in copper pot stills, rested long in stainless steel to preserve every nuance of the variety. The result is a grappa of real originality. Nothing loud about it. Nothing trying too hard. Just clean, rounded and distinctly Piedmontese — with that signature bitter almond finish that lingers just long enough to make you reach for another sip.

If you want to understand what a single grape grappa can be at its most refined, Arneis is a very good place to start.

Tasting Notes

Crystal clear in the glass. The nose is fine, crisp and enveloping — delicate herbaceous notes with a freshness that speaks directly to the Arneis character. The palate is original and beautifully rounded, with a soave elegance that unfolds gradually. The finish delivers a pleasant aftertaste of bitter almonds — delicate, persistent, and completely distinctiv
