Sibona Grappa Classica

HK$0.00

WHERE GRAPPA BEGINS. AND WHERE MOST DISTILLERIES SHOW THEIR HAND.

Every distillery's Classica is a statement of intent. No cask to hide behind, no extended ageing to smooth the edges — just the raw material, the still, and the skill of the distiller. Sibona's Classica is a multi-varietal white grappa made from the finest fresh Piedmontese marc selected at harvest — rested in stainless steel to preserve every nuance of the grape. Clean, precise and unmistakably Italian. The benchmark against which everything else in the range is measured.

Distilleria Sibona holds distilling licence No. 1 in Italy. They've been doing this longer than anyone. The Classica is where that heritage is most honestly on display.

Tasting Notes

Crystal clear with a fresh, wide-open nose of grape blossom, white stone fruit and subtle floral notes. The palate is soft and well-balanced — ripe plum, a hint of spice and the clean characteristic funk of properly made grappa, present but never aggressive. The finish is clean and pleasantly warm, with great harmony and a finesse that sets it well apart from lesser examples of the style.

Producer: Distilleria Sibona
Expression: Grappa Classica
Country: Italy
Region: Piedmont
Appellation: Grappa Piemontese
Raw material: Multi-varietal Piedmontese marc, fresh-harvested and selected by Sibona
Production method: Copper pot still distillation
Ageing: Rested in stainless steel
Colour: Crystal clear
ABV: 40%
Bottle size: 700ml

Perfect Serve

Serve lightly chilled at around 10–12°C in a tulip-shaped grappa glass or small white wine glass — both concentrate the delicate floral aromatics without trapping the alcohol. Unlike the aged Riservas, the Classica benefits from a slight chill, which keeps it crisp and refreshing. No ice directly in the glass.

Food Pairing

The Classica's freshness and clean profile make it one of the most versatile serves in the range — equally at home as a digestif or a companion to lighter dishes.

Fresh ricotta and light cheeses

Seafood and shellfish

Lemon tart or panna cotta

Fresh fruit and sorbets

Biscotti and almond pastries

Light tiramisu

Storage

Store upright in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Replace cap firmly after opening. Will maintain its quality for several years when stored correctly.

Dietary and Allergen Information

No added sugar.
No artificial colouring.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Gluten-free.
Always check the product label before consumption, as ingredients, allergens and product information may change.
